Religious freedom rally planned for Sterling Heights on Saturday

The political group known as Crusaders for Life will hold a religious freedom rally on Saturday in Sterling Heights that will focus on the insurance requirements for contraception coverage that were imposed by President Obama's health care reforms.

The outdoor rally will feature speakers opposed to Obamacare's birth control coverage requirement for employees of Catholic groups and hospitals.

The event will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. at St. Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church, 41233 Ryan Road, north of 18 Mile Road.
