Poynter, one of the premier online sites for journalism news and criticism, points out that some conservatives are hoppin' mad about the ridiculous amount of coverage given by the media to (now former) congressional staffer Elizabeth Lauten’s dopey remarks about the president’s daughters.
Republican National Committee communications director Sean Spicer told NBC News the media’s coverage of Lauten was “appalling,” a point he amplified in a trio of tweets after his appearance on the Today Show:
