Did the Colorado killer change the gun debate in the U.S.?

This (below) is the kind of crazy stuff going around on FB in the wake of the Aurora tragedy. I would just point out that the lunatic in Colorado may have changed the debate. Not only was he heavily armed -- enough to outgun anybody in a theater who was "carrying" -- he was dressed head to toe in bullet-proof armor. So, what will the NRA propose next?
