Huh? Schauer losing to Schauer in latest gubernatorial poll

The folks over at the Schauer for governor camp apparently got so excited this morning by new polling numbers that they mistakenly pumped out an email to the media with this subject line:

"New MI Poll -- Schauer 45, Schauer 44."

The good news for the Democratic candidate is that he's leading incumbent Republican Rick Snyder by 45-44 in the newest CBS/New York Times/YouGov poll. That's a major difference from the EPIC-MRA poll last week that had Gov. Snyder extending his lead to eight points.
The statistical tie in the CBS/NYT survey is partially the result of a 13-point edge for Schauer among female voters, and a 15-point lead among young voters ages 18 to 29.
