He may not be crazy but this guy has to be in the
running for the biggest hypocrite in Congress, though the competition is pretty
stiff:

This skeleton-in-the-closet story has emerged about Rep.
Scott DesJarlais, a Tennessee Republican, who a decade ago was looking for a
way out of an extramarital relationship and told his mistress to get an
abortion for the sake of his marriage, the Huffington Post reported.
DesJarlais -- who supported
an anti-abortion bill that would have blocked
abortions in cases of “forcible rape”
in one of its early drafts -- demanded that his lover end her pregnancy and they tried to work out the details for travel to an Atlanta abortion clinic.
In the
conversation, he reportedly says: “You told me you’d have an abortion, and now
we’re getting too far along without one.”
He talks repeatedly of getting the problem "solved" or
"fixed" and eventually explains he's desperate to patch things up
with his wife. When his wife later divorced him in 2001, court papers revealed
that he admitted to having four affairs.
The lawmaker has faced accusations
of hypocrisy before, according to the HuffPo. Although he voted to repeal the
Affordable Care Act, he later celebrated the construction of a health clinic in
his district funded wholly by Obamacare.
