New poll devastating for Obama

While most polls show the presidential race in a dead heat, a new survey by The Hill offered some unusual questions and produced some devastating numbers for President Obama.

Two-thirds of likely voters say Obama has kept his 2008 campaign promise to change America, but an astounding 56 percent say the president has changed the nation for the worse.
This negative transformation is cited by 91 percent of Republicans which, regardless of America’s hyper-partisanship, is a high number. But the stunner is that one-fifth of Democrats say the incumbent has changed the nation in a negative way.

Some 35 percent overall said that Obama has changed America for the better, but that number reflects a substantial racial divide. Obama benefits from unending adulation from the black community, with 92 percent saying the president’s changes are good for the country.
But here’s the figure that probably sent shock waves through the White House: Only three in 10 whites said the Obama changes have been positive.
