In case you missed it, Annarbor.com reported that the 25-year-old  running against 85-year-old Congressman John Dingell said the incumbent “pretty much sucks” at his job.

Daniel Marcin is challenging Dingell in the Democratic primary, saying that the congressman is not liberal enough.

"’I'm definitely to that guy's left,’ Marcin said of Dingell, attacking the 29-term lawmaker’s record on environmental issues, same-sex marriage and tax policy.

"’John Dingell acts like he's Mr. Senior Congressman. If that's the case, he's going to have to own it. So anything that hasn't gotten done, I'm going to blame him for."

Marcin is not stupid – he is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in economics at the University of Michigan – but his political skills pretty much suck.

He blames Dingell for decades of inaction on Capitol Hill regarding global warming.  He calls for a provision allowing every American to decide where 20 percent of their federal income taxes are spent. And he attacks the incumbent on the issue of gay marriage in this manner: "If same-sex marriage is a priority, why hasn't he gotten it through yet? If he's Mr. Leader, he pretty much sucks at it."
